Want to join a therapeutic equine program at a school?  At Green Chimneys special education students learn from 20 horses, donkeys, ponies and camels and benefit from a supportive relationship with these animals. Immersion Interns focus on  equine care in a therapeutic/educational setting, including feeding, cleaning, training, medical care, and facility maintenance. You also will work with students in groups during riding classes and activity periods under the supervision of staff. Experience with horses a plus, but not needed for the right applicant.  
What you bring to Green Chimneys:
Must be 21 years of age in order to qualify for housing (depending upon availability). Goals and level of experience must match internship.
