Role Overview: 
Youth Counselors are needed for a six bed shelter located in Brewster, serving youth ages 12-17. Duties include supervision of youth for assisting youth with prompts to get ready for school, meal preparation as well as planning recreational activities with youth. The Youth Counselor works closely with the Program Supervisor. The incumbent must have flexibility to cover day, evening and additional shifts when needed. This position is a role that helps youth find their confidence, build skills, and assist them during major transitions. The Youth Counselor role is ideal for anyone starting out in the field of Human Services. 



 

What you bring to Green Chimneys:

Must have valid Driver's License, be 21 years of age or older, have a high school diploma or higher and a heart to help others.
Rate of pay: $14.20-15.29 per hour.
