Nature's Nursery is hiring for the summer! Our Preschool program starts at age 3 and meets New York State academic curriculum standards along with creative and enriching activities such as arts & crafts, community service projects and nature study. Bridge and Kindergarten programs provide full academic preparation and social-emotional development, in accordance with New York State academic curriculum standards, for children entering the school system. School-Age Care features age-appropriate recreation activities, homework help, and group projects to engage young minds. Includes before and after school programs, as well as school holidays, vacations and weather-related closures.
We are looking for a Teacher Assistant with specific interests in horticulture and animal interactions to support our Farm Teacher in facilitating Summer groups and lessons. 

 
What you bring to Green Chimneys:
Candidates must be 16 years of age or older. Must be able to work outdoors in all types of weather and able to lift 50lbs. Preferred skills include experience with gardening and interest in animal interactions.
