Mission: We strive to give our clients support, resources, and the ability to heal through the work of animal-assisted therapy and nature-based learning all while developing the skills and confidence to grow into independent young adults.The Program Assistant at the Farm is responsible for supporting all aspects of the farm programs and farm department, which includes but is not limited to leading farm activities for children in the teaching barn, participating in animal care/training and vocational barn management with and for learning disabled and emotionally disturbed children and the maintenance of the farm landscape. Special focus is on developing activities in the afternoon and early evening and on weekends. Supports the farm, recreation, education and childcare departments, especially during special events.
