The Program Assistant at the Farm is responsible for supporting all aspects of the farm programs and farm department, which includes but is not limited to leading farm activities for children in the teaching barn, participating in animal care/training and vocational barn management with and for learning disabled and emotionally disturbed children and the maintenance of the farm landscape. Special focus is on developing activities in the afternoon and early evening and on weekends.  Supports the farm, recreation, education and childcare departments, especially during special events.

Rate of pay $15.00 with competitive benefits

What you bring to Green Chimneys:

Education/Experience:

  • High School Diploma required; Bachelor’s Degree in animal science or agriculture science preferred
  • Experience working in a farm environment preferred

Licensure/Certification:

  • Valid Driver’s License and clean driving record
