Green Chimneys has a unique, multi-faceted therapeutic program for children requiring residential treatment for a wide range of mental health concerns.  The on-campus Health & Wellness Center provides 24-hour nursing services and comprehensive care management, including pediatric care, psychiatric services, routine medical and dental treatment, and nutritional counseling. The Nurse Assistant will perform a variety of resident care activities and related non-professional services necessary in caring for the personal needs and comfort of residents. The incumbent will be responsible for transporting residents and staff to off-campus medical appointments. Some responsibilities include: assist residents with personal hygiene, administer and record oral medication as approved, clean and apply antiseptic to minor abrasions, observe and properly record residents' symptoms and maintain cleanliness of the Health Center. 

This position is full time (32 hours a week), can provide tuition reimbursement and benefit eligible. Overtime hours are available. Hours are 2pm-10pm five days per week at our Brewster location. 
What you bring to Green Chimneys:
Must have HS Diploma. No related experience necessary as in house training will be provided. Valid driver's license required and clean driving record required. 

The hourly rate for this role is between $15.50 and $15.33 per hour
This is a 32 hour per week role and is benefit eligible.
