The Creative Art Therapist will be responsible for creating and executing their own afterschool, evening and weekend programming for the students at Green Chimneys. This will include but may not necessarily be limited to clinical groups, off campus trips and individual sessions. This position will ensure that the documentation of all programming (especially documentation of treatment/billable services) are done to a high standard and completed in a timely manner. This position will work closely with all leadership within the department and agency in order to create and implement treatment programming that will improve the quality of life for the children served by Green Chimneys.

Pay Rate $48,000-$55,000 yearly DOE

Education/Experience:

• Master’s Degree in Creative Art Therapy, Dance Therapy, Music Therapy, Drama Therapy or expectable equivalent.
• Two years’ of experience in an acceptable clinical program setting is preferred.

Licensure/Certification:

• LCAT or related equivalent; those with a Master’s and working toward licensure will be considered
  
  The position will primarily support afterschool and weekend programming, which will require evening work hours. Some weekly flexibility will be needed based on Recreation programming and agency needs. This position will also be required to work special agency events.
