Lifeguards are responsible for ensuring the safety of campers by preventing and responding to emergencies at our camps aquatic areas, serve as role models within the camp community, are self-motivated and comply with all camps health & safety requirements. This position is temporary for the summer camp season only.
Licensure/Certification American Red Cross Lifeguard Training/First Aid American Red Cross CPR for the Professional Rescuer. Other certifications as required by local or state laws. Pre-employment assessment of lifeguarding skills and knowledge required. Must be available June 9th through August 30th. Must be at least 18 years of age.
Salary: Starting rate $15.50/ hr
*International applicants’ salary is based on sponsoring agencies pocket money agreement and/or experience. Stipend range between $1200 - $2700 for the summer season. Room and board is also provided to international staff for the duration of the season.
