Summer Camp Maintenance Worker

The Summer Camp Maintenance Worker position maintains a safe and clean work area at all times.  Must have ability to work independently and have experience working in basic landscaping, complete basic painting, handle multiple tasks at one time, interact effectively in one-on-one and or group situations and build rapport to foster teamwork. 
What you bring to Green Chimneys:

The successful candidate will be able to work well with people of diverse personalities and backgrounds. Some of the summer camp tasks will include managing garbage, filling water coolers and monitoring them, assist maintenance staff with light duty repairs, and maintain temporary water sinks. Other duties as assigned. This position is only for the summer starting June and ending August. You may be working at either the Carmel campus, Brewster campus or both.

High School or Trade/Vocational School diploma required. Must have valid driver’s license and clean driving record. Hours are generally 8am to 5pm Monday –Friday but other days and times may be required.

Salary: Starting rate $15.50/hr

*International applicants’ salary is based on sponsoring agencies pocket money agreement and/or experience. Stipend range between $1200 - $2700 for the summer season. Room and board is also provided to international staff for the duration of the season.
