The Youth Counselor is responsible for maintaining the structure of the day to day therapeutic milieu through the use of nurturance, routine and recreation. This position will work at Arbor House and the Community Outreach Center. Arbor House is a voluntary safe house that serves youth, ages 12-17, and has a maximum stay of 30 days. The Outreach Center is a drop-in center for youth ages 10-20 and this position is also responsible for Street Outreach efforts in the community. During their time at Arbor House and the Outreach Center, youth receive an array of support services including individual and family counseling, case management, referral assistance and life skills training. Youth also participate in recreational activities and group meetings that enhance social skills and positive peer interactions. Youth in residence at Arbor House are maintained in their current school program.

This position is 40 hours per week, nights and weekends, and is benefit eligible.
Rate of pay for this role is $15.50-$15.29 depending on education 

Must have a High School diploma and a minimum of 1 year related experience. Bachelor's Degree in related field preferred.  Must have flexible schedule/availability.
