The Administrative Assistant – Admissions provides clerical and administrative support to the Admissions Team. They are responsible for managing and processing referrals for Green Chimneys campus-based programs, which include the Residential Treatment Center (RTC), Therapeutic Day School (TDS) and Clearpool Day School (CDS), managing informational and routine calls, developing and maintaining spreadsheets/reports and completing projects as needed. The Administrative Assistant is also responsible for new admissions preparation which includes daily data entry, filing and coordination.Additionally, they will provide switchboard coverage on a rotational schedule for Receptionist’s lunch breaks, and/or as assigned for unscheduled absences. Other specific responsibilities include but are not limited to: administrative tasks, tracking admissions documentation, attending meetings and taking notes, providing support to Director of Admissions, generating reports, preparing correspondence, and other duties as assigned.
Associate degree or Business School degree preferred. High School diploma required. Minimum of one to three years administrative experience. Strong competency with various computer and software programs. Experience and proficiency with data entry at high volumes. The ability to work in a fast paced environment utilizing strong customer service skills.
This is a full time benefit eligible role with an hourly rate of $18.70- $19.80 (depending on experience).
