Lifeguards are responsible for ensuring the safety of campers by preventing and responding to emergencies at our camps aquatic areas, serve as role models within the camp community, are self-motivated and comply with all camps health & safety requirements. This position is temporary for the summer camp season only.
Licensure/Certification American Red Cross Lifeguard Training/First Aid American Red Cross CPR for the Professional Rescuer. Other certifications as required by local or state laws. Pre-employment assessment of lifeguarding skills and knowledge required. Must be available June 8th through August 29th. Must be at least 18 years of age.
International applicants’ salary is based on sponsoring agencies pocket money agreement and/or experience. Stipend range between $1300 - $2800 for the summer season. Room and board is also provided to international staff for the duration of the season.
Salary: Starting rate of $17.50/hr (we match whatever the pool starting rate is!)
