Shelter Program Coordinator RHY (Bilingual Spanish Preferred)

BROAD RESPONSIBILITIES:

Do you want to help youth in need? The RHY Coordinator the is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of  the RHY programs, including but not necessarily limited to ensuring compliance with FYSB and OCFS regulations, grant monitoring and reporting. With a significant amount of independent judgement, the RHY Coordinator provides supportive counseling and case management services to youth and their families involved in the RHY programs while maintaining the structure of the day-to-day therapeutic milieu through the use of nurturance, routine and recreation at the shelter. 

 Education/Experience:

  • BSW/BA; will consider candidates without a degree as long as they have a minimum of 2 years case management experience with youth and families

Licensure/Certification:

  • Valid Driver’s License
  • Successful completion of agency driver course

 Schedule: 40 hours per week.  Sunday-Thursday 7a-3p. Some flexible hours based on client and/or program needs.

 This is a full time and benefit eligible role. Rate of pay for this role is $38,688 per year (experience but no degree) to $39,728 per year (with degree).
