BROAD RESPONSIBILITIES:

Campus Security is responsible to maintain the general safety of Green Chimneys’ campus, including addressing, resolving and reporting any problems that arise. Additionally, Campus Security provides general support to the Maintenance department and security services to other departments on campus. Campus Security will also work closely and collaboratively with employees of all departments on campus.

 Education/Experience:

  • HS diploma or equivalency required
  • 2 year experience in security or a related field preferred

     

    Licensure/Certification:

  • Valid Driver's License

Physical/Mental Requirements (ADA Compliance):

  • Must have the capability of lifting and moving moderate to heavy material up to 50 lbs.
  • Must have the mobility to perform the essential duties of the position. Must be able to adapt to changing climate conditions
  • In order to perform the essential duties of the job, the incumbent must be able to speak, hear, see, walk, run, stoop, push, pull, climb and type
  • Must have the ability to work long hours, in a hectic environment, often under stress

 Schedule:

Flexible schedule, which includes mornings, evenings, weekends and holidays as needed by department and agency needs. Anticipated schedule includes Saturday, Wed. Thurs. & Fri.

 *Must be able to attend a full week-long Therapeutic Crisis Intervention paid training within the first month of employment.

This is a full time and benefit eligible role paying $17.00-$19.00 depending on experience.
