Life Skills Coach

The Life Skills Coach is responsible for independently implementing, managing, and continuously improving the Residential Department’s Life Skills programming. This role requires strong self-management, initiative, and the ability to independently organize projects, prioritize responsibilities, and follow assignments through from development to completion. The Life Skills Coach will create and develop curriculum and programming initiatives while working collaboratively with residential, education, and social service staff.

Education/Experience:

  • Associates Degree in a Human Service field from an accredited institution required; Bachelor’s Degree preferred
  • Minimum of two years’ experience working in residential programs required; Combination of direct care and supervisory experience in a residential program working with individuals with disabilities preferred.
  • Experience facilitating group work required

Licensure/Certification:

  • Therapeutic Crisis Intervention Certification
  • CPR certified or ability to become certified
  • Must possess a valid driver’s license and meet all agency requirements obtain and maintain approved agency driver status.

The rate for this role is $24.50 per hour and is benefit eligible
