The Director of Nature’s Nursery provides strategic leadership and operational oversight across all programs. This role is responsible for ensuring the highest standards of safety, curriculum quality, and regulatory compliance, while fostering a vibrant, supportive environment for children, families, and staff.

At Nature’s Nursery, we combine nurturing early education with outdoor discovery and creative exploration. We pride ourselves on offering comprehensive programs that foster growth, curiosity, and community:

  • Preschool Program: Aligns with New York State academic standards while integrating creative activities like arts & crafts, community service projects, and nature study.
  • Bridge Program: Provides robust academic preparation and social-emotional development in accordance with NYS standards to prepare children for kindergarten.
  • School-Age Care: Features age-appropriate recreation, homework help, and engaging group projects for before/after school, holidays, vacations, and weather-related closures.

Education/Experience:

  • BS Degree in Elementary Education, N-6 or AS in Early Childhood and working towards BS in Business Administration or the NYS Administrative Credential
  • At least two years’ experience working with children in an early childhood school environment

This is a full-time and benefit eligible role.
The salary for this position is $68,000/yr.
