The Development Specialist- Grants and Foundations is responsible for identifying and securing grant funding to support the work of Green Chimneys. This position involves researching potential funding sources, writing compelling grant proposals, and maintaining relationships with funders. The ideal candidate will have excellent writing skills, a strong understanding of nonprofit funding needs, and a passion for supporting education, behavioral health, and animal welfare initiatives.
Education/Experience:
College degree required.
Minimum of four years in non-profit development / philanthropy with at least 2 years’ experience in corporate, foundation, and government fundraising preferred.
This is a full time and benefit eligible role. The rate of pay for this role is $$68,000 to $69,550 annually.
